Review / Update / Advice
How often do we need to review or update our wills and other estate arrangements?
There are some set requirements, such as, after you:
- Get Married
- Get Divorced
- Buy assets in a different estates jurisdiction (buy assets overseas)
- Move to Queensland
If you are unsure if you need to update your will you can email us and we will be able to assist you.

If you take on control of, or ownership of, assets or business through business entities and agreements we also recommend a review to ensure that in the event of your death the benefit of these assets can pass to your intended beneficiaries.
A will is usually ineffective in dealing with business entities - in fact it fails totally to deal with any asset not owned in your name personally. We normally use other means, in addition to a will, to deal with control or ownership of assets through business arrangements.
We can explain what is needed in your individual circumstances and can provide a fixed fee quote for estates advice and documents needed.
